The Edmond and Lily Safra Children's Hospital's mission is the treatment and caring of the sickest children with the most complex medical conditions.  We are able to provide state-of-the-art care with all modern technologies available in each of our specialty units. Many of our patients have serious chronic diseases and we pay particular attention to providing a friendly, compassionate and pain-free environment for our children.

In the tradition of Sheba Medical Center, the Pediatric Division has led the way in this country in the establishment of new pediatric services. This includes the building and staffing of a modern intensive care unit with a step down intermediate unit, an in-patient hemato-oncology unit that performs bone marrow transplantation and intensive chemotherapy, an outpatient clinical service and day care center for Oncology patients and a pediatric hospice. A pediatric surgical department that caters to all the pediatric subspecialties including Neurosurgery, Cardiac Surgery, Orthopedics, Urology and Otorhinolaryngology.

Our child development center was the first of its kind in Israel and is part of our psychiatric services. We also have a day care center for autistic children.
