About Friends of Sheba - Friends of Sheba Medical Center

Based in Los Angeles, Friends of Sheba Medical Center is the organization responsible for supporting Sheba Medical Center in Israel—the largest and most comprehensive medical center in Israel and the Middle East. Throughout our 30 year history, Friends of Sheba has provided a variety of support at Sheba Medical Center, including the Dr. Sigi Ziering Brain Cancer Unit, the Rubinfeld Rehabilitation Hotel, and the recent Sigi & Marilyn Ziering National Center for Newborn Screening, where every baby born in Israel will be tested for 20 treatable genetic diseases. Friends of Sheba offers several programming events, ranging from home parlor meetings and Dinner & Discussions with visiting doctors, professors, and researchers, to annual Israel Missions, Luncheons, and Gala Awards dinners. We have a number of charitable giving opportunities to support Sheba, including the naming of Buildings , Research Projects, and Laboratories, and the support of the Hospitals, National Centers, and Institutes that make up Sheba Medical Center.
